ORNGE Scandal

After a lengthy investigation by the Toronto Star into ORNGE, the air ambulance service of Ontario, it was discovered that the assets of Ontario air ambulance were transferred to a new arms length agency for 1$ (One dollar) headed by Dr. Chris Mazza, CEO of ORNGE.

The Toronto Star also uncovered that new agency head was being paid $1.4 Million a year while remaining off the “sunshine list” of public employees making over $100,000 a year. That salary makes him the highest publicly paid official in the province.

Furthermore, it was found that ORNGE was planning to leverage the Crown planes and helicopters to start a for-profit medical evacuation service for the elite.

Again one more scandalous act from McGuinty’s liberals.
