A Buck a Beer




	This is the latest salvo in McGuinty’s string of bad decisions. His Liberal government refused on February 9, 2011 to allow breweries to sell beer for a buck ($1) a bottle. He is arguing some nonsense about “social responsibility” as if demand for beer is going to skyrocket. The truth is, he is giving in to the demands of major, international breweries at the expense of the smaller domestic brewers. McGuinty is so bad at governing that he won’t even let Ontarians enjoy themselves once in a while. At least Marie-Antoinette said “Let them eat cake” but for McGuinty, it is : “No beer for you”.
